If the purpose changes, we will take required measures, including obtaining separate consent, in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act. - Member registration and management: confirming intent to register, identity verification for member services, maintaining member status, and preventing misuse - Service operation: providing onboarding services and managing and guiding application history
2. Retention and Processing Period
Geek Haus processes and retains personal information within the period required by applicable law or the period agreed to by the data subject at the time of collection. The retention period is as follows. - Member registration and management: until account deletion (however, if an investigation related to legal violations is in progress, until that investigation is complete)
3. Items of Personal Information Processed
Geek Haus processes the following personal information. - Required: email, name, phone number, gender, age - Optional: profile photo, MBTI, tech stack, personal tendencies, and related information
4. Provision to Third Parties
Geek Haus processes personal information only within the scope stated in Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information). Personal information is provided to third parties only when there is consent from the data subject or when it is permitted under Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
5. Rights of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them
Under Article 35 of the Personal Information Protection Act, data subjects may exercise rights such as requesting access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of personal information. These rights may be exercised in writing or by email in accordance with Article 41(1) of the Enforcement Decree, and Geek Haus will take action without delay.
