It looks like Apple Music is getting a new icon
EDITOR BRIEF
Apple Music’s red icon has reportedly been replaced by a black-and-white version in the latest iOS 27.2 beta, according to 9to5Mac. The update also appears to bring monochrome widgets and follows a similar logo sighting on the Apple Music Hall website.
INSIGHTS
The change suggests Apple may be aligning Apple Music with a cleaner, more adaptive visual system across light and dark modes. If released broadly, the redesign could signal a shift toward monochrome branding that feels more consistent with modern iOS interface trends.
