Tesla says it will finally unveil the second generation Roadster on October 1

Tesla posted a “Go for launch” teaser on X with a “10.01” date, signaling an October 1 reveal for its long-delayed second-generation Roadster. The teaser appears to reference optional cold gas thrusters, a feature Elon Musk has said could let the car “fly” in some form.

The reveal could help Tesla revive excitement around a halo product first announced in 2017, but years of delays have raised expectations and skepticism.
