Judge blocks X rival from using Twitter name, but allows ‘Tweet’ for now

A federal judge temporarily barred an X rival from using the Twitter name, siding with X on that part of the trademark dispute. However, the court found X likely abandoned the Tweet trademark and bird logo, and the startup has relaunched as Tweet.app.
