Mark Zuckerberg tells staff that AI agents haven’t progressed as quickly as he’d hoped

Mark Zuckerberg reportedly told Meta employees that AI agent development has not accelerated as executives had hoped. Meta previously cut about 8,000 jobs and reassigned 7,000 workers into AI groups, while planning up to $145 billion in AI infrastructure spending this year.
