EDITOR BRIEF

SolarSquare is in advanced talks to raise $55 million to $60 million in a Series C round co-led by B Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners, potentially valuing the company at $450 million to $500 million. The deal would more than double its valuation since its December 2024 Series B, with Elevation Capital also expected to participate.

COMMENTARY

The round signals rising investor confidence in residential solar as India pushes toward 500 GW of renewable capacity by 2030. Startups that can simplify installation, financing, and subsidy access may become key distribution layers in India’s clean-energy transition.
