Apple will reportedly debut its first touchscreen MacBook in three weeks

Apple is reportedly preparing to unveil a new MacBook Pro with a touchscreen and a refreshed iPad Mini on or around October 27. Bloomberg says the event may include both an online presentation and an in-person press component, following a separate October 13 event expected to focus on smart home products.

A touchscreen MacBook would mark a major shift in Apple’s long-standing separation between Macs and iPads. If confirmed, it could signal a broader move toward hybrid computing as Apple responds to user demand and competitive pressure from Windows laptops.
