Xbox has secured exclusive GTA 6 streaming rights
EDITOR BRIEF
Microsoft has reportedly struck a deal making Xbox Cloud Gaming the only service able to stream Grand Theft Auto VI at launch. The duration of the exclusivity is unclear, and Rockstar has not yet announced a PC version, potentially giving Xbox a major cloud gaming marketing advantage.
INSIGHTS
The deal suggests Microsoft is using cloud exclusivity to differentiate Xbox beyond console hardware sales. If GTA VI remains unavailable on PC at launch, streaming access could become a significant lever for subscription growth and platform lock-in.
