The new Fitbit Edge leaks

New leaks show the rumored Fitbit Edge as a likely successor to Fitbit’s Charge line, positioned between a basic tracker and a full smartwatch. The device reportedly has a small widget-capable display, built-in GPS, an altimeter, limited app support, and up to seven days of battery life.

The Edge appears to continue Google’s strategy of separating fitness-first wearables from the Pixel Watch while still adding some smartwatch conveniences. If accurate, the device could strengthen Fitbit’s appeal to users who want health tracking and long battery life without committing to a larger, more expensive smartwatch.
