Meta is making Muse more powerful and will let you video chat with it, too

Meta announced several updates to its Muse AI agent, including dedicated email addresses that let users communicate with the agent and enable it to complete tasks. The Muse Mac app is also gaining the ability to use a computer, and Meta plans to add video calls as another way to interact with the agent.

Meta is pushing Muse beyond text chat toward a more capable AI agent that can operate across communication channels and desktop environments. Email, computer control, and video interaction suggest a broader race to make AI assistants feel more like persistent digital coworkers than standalone chatbots.
