Slack can now vibe-code interactive charts and reports inside chats

Slack is adding Slackforce Surfaces, a feature that lets users ask Slackbot to create interactive reports, dashboards, polls, presentations, microsites, and other tools directly inside chats. The AI can pull context from relevant conversations and connected apps such as Google Drive or Salesforce, then let teams share, pin, comment on, and interact with the generated Surfaces.

The feature pushes Slack further toward becoming an AI workspace where work artifacts are created inside conversations rather than in separate apps. If broadly adopted, it could reduce context switching and make workplace chat platforms more competitive with BI, project management, and lightweight app-building tools.
