Meta introduced Muse Voice Transcribe, a speech-to-text model that supports streaming transcription, endpoint detection, multilingual code-switching, and speaker diarization for more than 20 speakers. At $0.18 per hour of processed audio, the API is priced aggressively for enterprise use cases like meetings, call analytics, live assistants, and ambient AI.

Meta is pushing real-time speech infrastructure toward a lower-cost, all-in-one model where transcription, diarization, and multilingual handling are bundled together. Even if rivals support higher speaker counts, the combination of low pricing and integrated voice AI features could pressure incumbents and accelerate adoption in enterprise workflows.
