Nvidia is about to be a hundred-billion-dollar-a-quarter company

Nvidia reported record quarterly revenue of $96.2 billion and projected it will reach $108 billion within months, putting it near the $100 billion-per-quarter club already occupied by Amazon, Apple, and Alphabet. Its data center business drove the surge, more than doubling year over year to $89 billion, while profits also more than doubled to $59.7 billion.

The results show how AI infrastructure demand has turned Nvidia into one of the fastest-scaling companies in tech history. If growth continues, Nvidia’s dependence on AI chips could become both its biggest advantage and its biggest risk as customers, regulators, and competitors respond.
