EDITOR BRIEF
CD Projekt Red is launching The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered on September 29, adding upgraded visuals, improved combat, a reimagined skill tree, and both major expansions. The update will be free for existing owners on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, and will also bring the game to Nintendo Switch 2.
COMMENTARY
The free upgrade helps CD Projekt Red extend the lifespan of one of its most valuable franchises while keeping fans engaged ahead of future Witcher projects. It also reflects a broader industry trend of using remasters to refresh flagship titles for newer hardware and audiences.
