Google Discover is getting an AI chatbot-tuned feed

Google is rolling out a feature in the Google app that lets users customize Discover by describing what they want to see in a chatbot-style interface. The AI will adjust the feed, confirm the requested preferences, and remember them for future visits.

This moves content personalization from passive behavior tracking toward explicit, conversational controls. If it works well, AI-driven feeds could make recommendation systems feel more transparent while giving platforms another way to keep users engaged.
