Wordle meets Clippy in this new word game

Sam Rosenthal, creative director at Blaseball developer The Game Band, says his daily Wordle habit inspired him to rethink what digital word games can be. The project draws from informal family road-trip games like the alphabet game and riffs on 20 questions, aiming for a more flexible experience than traditional puzzle apps.

The concept points to a broader shift from rigid daily puzzles toward social, conversational play that feels more like casual real-world games. If successful, it could expand the Wordle-inspired genre beyond score-sharing into more personal and improvisational formats.
