EDITOR BRIEF
A Reddit user shared legit-looking photos of what appears to be a prototype Xbox Elite Series 3 controller, reportedly bought for $200 on OfferUp. The leak seems to align with earlier regulatory images showing new scroll wheels, a second wireless mode for Xbox Cloud Gaming, and a redesigned pairing control.
COMMENTARY
If accurate, the controller suggests Microsoft is treating cloud access and device switching as core gamepad features rather than add-ons. A built-in display could signal a broader push toward premium controllers that surface connection status, profiles, or cloud features directly on the hardware.
