EDITOR BRIEF
Google will host its annual Made by Google hardware event Wednesday evening, with teasers pointing to new Pixel slab and foldable smartphones. Leaks suggest the lineup may also include updated Pixel watches, a new earbud color, and possibly an AirTag-like tracker.
COMMENTARY
The evening timing and Trevor Noah hosting suggest Google is trying to make its hardware launches feel more like mainstream entertainment events. The expected product mix shows Google continuing to build a broader Pixel ecosystem around phones, wearables, audio, and location-tracking accessories.
