Is this $450 laptop from an unknown brand too good to be true?

The Verge reviewed Chuwi’s UniBook, a $450 Windows laptop advertised with an aluminum chassis, many ports, and Intel’s new Wildcat Lake processor. Despite the attractive spec sheet, the review says the machine is too good to be true, giving it a low score and positioning it well behind stronger budget alternatives.
