DJI camera clone company Xtra is halting and refunding all preorders

Xtra Technology has removed the Muse 2 Pro from its website, paused preorders indefinitely, and says it will refund all $20 deposits already collected. The move comes shortly after the company showed off the camera, which appeared to closely resemble DJI’s anticipated dual-lens Osmo Pocket 4 Pro.

The reversal suggests mounting pressure around lookalike hardware as Chinese drone and camera brands face tighter scrutiny in the US. It also highlights how quickly companies trying to capitalize on DJI’s product momentum can be forced to retreat when legal, supply chain, or reputational risks rise.
