Claude’s voice mode is now available for Opus and Sonnet

Anthropic is expanding Claude’s voice mode beyond the faster Haiku model to its more capable Opus and Sonnet models. The company says users were applying voice interactions to business problems that required stronger reasoning, and it is also extending Claude’s reach into apps like Gmail, Slack, and Canva.

The move shows voice AI shifting from quick Q&A toward more serious workplace workflows where model capability matters as much as latency. Deeper app integrations could make Claude a more competitive productivity assistant, especially as AI labs race to embed conversational tools into daily work software.
