This unpronounceable series of glyphs is an incredible side project from Kieran Hebden (aka Four Tet)

Kieran Hebden, best known as Four Tet, has a side project whose artist name and releases are made up of unpronounceable Unicode glyphs. The names render differently across YouTube Music, Apple Music, and Bandcamp, making the music hard to search for despite its strong reception.

The project turns metadata into part of the artwork, but it also exposes how fragile music discovery is when artists reject searchable names. As streaming platforms become the default catalog for culture, experimental naming can create buzz while undermining accessibility and long-term discoverability.
