Kodak EC35 is a dirt-cheap point-and-shoot film camera

Reto Project is releasing the Kodak EC35, a $34.99 reusable 35mm point-and-shoot camera under the Kodak brand. It has a fixed 25mm acrylic lens, f/10 aperture, 1/100 shutter speed, manual wind and rewind, and built-in automatic flash, making it close to a disposable camera experience.

The EC35 shows how the film revival is creating demand for ultra-simple, low-cost cameras rather than advanced analog gear. By turning disposable-style shooting into a reusable product, Reto Project is targeting casual creators who want the film aesthetic without a high upfront cost.
