OpenAI may announce a ChatGPT smart speaker this year

OpenAI is reportedly preparing its first consumer device: a screenless ChatGPT smart speaker with a camera, sensors, and a rechargeable battery. Bloomberg says the device may support smart home controls and portability, while OpenAI denies knowing of evidence supporting Apple’s related hardware-secrets lawsuit.
