PlayStation State of Play June 2026: All the news and trailers

Sony used its June State of Play to preview more than an hour of PlayStation announcements ahead of Summer Game Fest. Highlights included updates on Wolverine, God of War Laufey, Remedy’s Control sequel, Marathon season 2, Ace Combat 8, Onimusha, Silent Hill, Tomb Raider, and other PS5 releases.

The showcase arrives as PlayStation faces pressure from rising PS5 prices and uneven results from its live-service strategy. A broad slate of single-player franchises, sequels, and demos suggests Sony is leaning back into franchise depth while still trying to keep multiplayer bets like Marathon alive.
